Buccaneer scholar blogs

Read mostly blogs by James Bach (buccaneer scholar), processing (processing.org - programming language to program images, animiations etc. sample: http://processing.org/exhibition/works/base26/index_link.html), zotero plugin (citation plugin for firefox).

Buccaneer scholar related blogs (by James Bach): especially
  • http://www.satisfice.com/blog/archives/288 (a new colleague is born) which talks about importance of philosophy in testing.
  • Reclaim your personal method (http://www.buccaneerscholar.com/blog/archives/73) talks about importance of following personal methods. learning from other ideas is fine, but following other ideas/methods has the drawbacks - unless the other person is supervising - then its quite ok to follow the other person's methods - as he is going to guide/mentor you.
  • What a tester does (http://www.buccaneerscholar.com/blog/archives/56): is an interesting article on how testers think. "Testers question things. In so doing we light the way for others." quote from the blog.
  • Competeting swashbooking (http://www.buccaneerscholar.com/blog/archives/50): Its mentined in Buccaneer scholar book. But, didnt guess that through swashbooking one can skim through a book within 6mins. I like the idea of narrating essense of the book after swashbooking.
